728, 730, 742 & 744 Dundas

What is being proposed?

H-8925_Notice_of_Application.pdf_(page_2_of_2).pngIndwell Community Homes has applied to remove a holding provision (h-67) that has been applied to the lands at 728, 730, 742 and 744 Dundas St (Northwest corner of Dundas St and English St). As the notice of application states: "The purpose of the h-67 provision is to address concerns of site contamination, a Record of Site Condition shall be carried out by a qualified professional and submitted to the Ministry of the Environment. The City of London will remove the h-67 holding provision once the Ministry is satisfied that the Record of Site Condition is satisfactory."

The lands are already zoned Business District Commercial with a special provision that allows a mix of commercial and residential uses. The London Free Press reported on Indwell's proposed use of the lands earlier this year.

Public feedback on the lifting of the holding provision is encouraged. Please contact Larry Mottram, Planner, 519-661-2489 ext 4657, x4866 or lmottram@london.ca and include file reference H-8925 (Indwell Community Homes).

Next Steps

The planning and environment committee will consider a report from planning staff at a future meeting. This will not be a public participation meeting, as it only involves the lifting of a holding provision.
